Aulanko MTB is the mountain biking event in Finland, held in the charming historic sceneries and challenging terrain of the Aulanko Park at Hämeenlinna. The event is aimed at everyone who has some experience in mountain biking. There's no need for any competition experience or a license.
· Experience the beautiful spring nature of the National Urban Park of Hämeenlinna. Scenic Aulanko Forest Park was established in the late 1800 century.
· The route consists of challenging terrain and loads of single track
· Distances approx.: 6 km / 10 km / 24 km / 45 km
· Mass start and timing

There will be some changes to the route. Place for start/ finish is different. The course is about 24 km long and the total ascent is about 450 meters. 45 km course is a 2 x 24 km loop with a special challenge . Most of the course is a somewhat narrow single track. There are some short road sections in between.
There will for sure be enough challenges to even a very experienced mountain biker. However, the course can be completed also with just basic mountain biking experience. No competition experience or license is needed. Use of a helmet is compulsory.
A skilled & very fit rider can complete the course with a rigid mountain bike, but we do recommend a proper suspended mountain bike. There is no insurance provided to the participants from the organizers, so every participant should take care of his/her own insurance.

Registration for the 2023 event will begin on 1st Feb 2023 at 18:00 EET.

TRAVELING TO AULANKO
Easiest way to reach the Aulanko area is by train from Helsinki or from Tampere. You can also arrive by car, and there are parking spaces available by Aulanko Hotel and Spa and at Aulanko Park.
